what do we value?

WhoCares? values empowering people.

We belive that when we give people hope and the tools to help themselves, the change will be long-lasting and sustainable.

WhoCares? values working with locals.

We work with NGOs  run by locals (or which trains locals eventually to run them).  We believe that by supporting people who are familiar with the issues that local people face, and who are already working to address those issues, we can be more effective in our efforts.

WhoCares? values caring for the earth.

We believe that our planet (and everything on it) is valuable and deserves to be treated with care.

We also believe that when we care for the earth, we are caring for the poorest and most vulnerable people, as there is an inseparable link between people and the land they live on.

(Check out our ethical living page to see more of our thoughts on this and  what we are doing to treat the earth with care.)

WhoCares? values faith.

We are people that value faith and the perspective and hope that it can bring to a person's spirit.  WhoCares? has been created to reflect Christian principles that we value and ideas that we are passionate about.

  • we believe that people are created with value and purpose
  • we believe that we are all created equally
  • we believe that we should care for the poor and respond to need
  • we believe that even one person can make a difference
